Synopsis

We see a little of Rama, the writer's, life before she travels to Saint Omer to observe the trial. Thereafter it is almost entirely in the courtroom with flashbacks of Rama's growing up and relationship with her mother.

Long Languid Courtroom Drama

Summary

Long(ish) and languid with a lot left unsaid in terms of the resonances between Lawrences life and Rama's. Ultimately unsatisfying
