Entertaining, tropes from many previous films (memento, sliding doors,) not too aggressive violent or soppy romantic although could have been either.

Review of "Land and Freedom"

Very well told compleeing story about how it descends into factionalism on the left unable to defeat the cooperation between fascists on the right. Stalin gets the blame.
