Review of "Untouchable"

OK as far as it went, but a bit superficial. Apparently based on a true story - although the helper wasn't black and the rich guy wasn't croseus in real life

Review of "Mr.Turner"

Actually the film should have been called Mr.Spall because it was more about him grunting and doing pig impressions that any exploration of the motivation and art of Turner the artist.

Review of "Meek's Cutoff"

Deliberately slow and thoughtful. Sound irrelevant (no words for first 10mins and most of the dialogue is deliberately inaudible because it doesn't matter) a deeply engrossing film with a classic Kelly Reichart ending (see Night Moves)
