Review of "Dark Eden"

Beckett has created a totally alien but believable world as a backdrop against which a timeless drama is played out. This is more than mere science fiction, it has believable characters with understandable motivations within a coherent and comprehensible situation.

Pretty good. Didn't really get all the oppressiveness of the snow stuff, but the plot worked quite well and a nice unrelated twist to do with his relationship with his girlfriend (who he had left behind)
