Review of "12 Years A Slave"

Its a true story so nothing much more can be said. I felt that the Brad Pitt character was slightly overplayed - did he really act from higher motives - it came across that Solomon was saved by the god-like intervention of the white man.

Review of "The Deep"

So much better than Gravity seen last week in dealing with on person's struggle alone against impossible odds. We have the back story, we care about the character and what happens to him and the rest of the crew and how he comes to terms with it afterwards. This is a film with human interest, Gravity had none.
