Review of "Roman Holiday"

Location shooting in Rome gives it a lot of reality despite being B&W. The ideology is as you would expect, but as a piece of film storytelling very competent.

Quite compelling. A tour do force, the single take carries you along and the action and storyline are really strong. Amazing performance by Laia Costa on screen for almost the full two and a quarter hours.

Extraordinary tale, Leo di C grunts his way masterly through it. Sometimes a bit OTT (can you really survive an extended swim in an icy river and emerge to make a fire (how) and your clothes and furs be dry by morning)
