Review of "All About Eve"

A very wordy and literate script which perhaps could have benefitted from a bit of lightening - when every line is perfect it all seems a bit the same. Nice twist at the end as another start struck wannabe gets her claws out in turn

Alan Bennett is good in maximum 10 minutes doses, but spun out into a 1hr 44minute movie it is just too much whining and whinging.
