Synopsis

Cecilia escape with help of her sister and hides up with James, a friend, and his teen daughter Sydney. After learning of her husband's death and her inheritance she becomes convinced that he has faked his death and made himself invisible(he is a world leading expert in "optics") to stalk her.

We discover early on that she is right, and then see her struggle to convince those around her as the husband starts to take revenge on those helping her.

It all comes good in the end of course.

Neither horrific nor thrilling

Summary

A fairly pedestrian horror-thriller with an unbelievable Mcguffin and a predictable plot

Merits 4 stars largely on the basis of Elisabeth Moss's performance
