Strangely told story

A slightly odd (whimisical) way of telling a life story that doesn't quite work but in a way reflects the strangeness of the man himself. Not your normal bio-pic and doesn't really delve into the stranger end of his ideas and how they have been supressed.

The Smile gets a bit monotonous

A rom-com about a young woman who I can't really connect with. Renate Reinsve has a compleeing smile though which makes it good to look at even though it is a bit of a single note moview which gets tedious sometimes.

You Cant Escape Florida

A bit like the classic Badlands, but this time the young couple don't actually do anything particularly bad, although they think they have, and don't manage to get very far.

Nonetheless makes quite a good tale

A House of Dynamite

Director : Kathryn Bigelow

Film Summary :
What would the US Government and Military do if they detected a single potentially nuclear ballistic missile heading for the US from the Eastern Pacific

A Fail-Safe for our time

Very well told story of the military-political establishment response to a threat. Apparently there are some errors in what would actually happen, but it illustrates anew the nuclear dilemma. A Fail-Safe for our time.

Story told three times from slightly different points of view to build up a complete picture. And a pleasingly ambiguous ending.
