Based on reality a fictional story of a young Scottish doctor who becomes IdiAmin's personal physician and fails to see what is going on. Not quite true fiction although many of the events did happen the doctor is invented.

He helps Amin with a minor injury when he has a minor car crash on his victory tour of the country at the village where the doctor is working. Amin then recruits him as his personal physician and he accompanies and observes Amin as the regime spirals into madness.
