Shades of Name of the Rose as our hero uncovers a mystery within a mystery. I didn't see the twist at the end until it happened. Very much enjoyed reading it as it rattled along

Very readable, the doggy analogies almost become too much but he gets away with it as they really work to help understand the concepts being explained.

Review of "The Rise of the Green Left"

Christmas present from Jane. The last couple of chapters were the best although a lot more could have been said about education and also the focus on "indigineous peoples" as carriers of the flame fro ecosocialism is a bit disempowering.
