The great Tristram Shandy updated and expanded to cover the lives and loves of the Traverse family scions of Webb the anarchist. Resolutions and explanations rendered obselete by the flowing of a great river which carries on as we scramble to the bank and shake the last drops off our bodies.

Review of "The Steep Approach to Garbadale"

Great read, interweaving the present (200x) with the early 80s and the early 90s to uncover the dark secret of Alban's past. Central characters (Alban, Fielding, Sophie) easy to identify with, although some of the peripherals a bit sketchly drawn. (Hydan, Blake, Lauren)
